光復

On August 15, 1945, Korea was liberated from 35 years of Japanese colonial rule. Liberation Day is 광복절(光復節 Gwangbokjeol) in Korean. "광복(光復 Gwangbok)“ literally means "Restoration of Light" It reflects the return of freedom and independence to Korea. 대한 독립 만세!
